The frozen Lake Baikal in Siberia served as the backdrop for the filming of the 2023 movie "Pathaan," starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. Thrilling action scenes, including a high-speed bike chase between SRK and John, as well as Deepika skating, were shot on the lake amidst guns and explosions, resulting in visually captivating sequences that have now made the location a popular choice for Bollywood fans. In Iceland, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol filmed their romantic song "Gerua" from the 2015 film "Dilwale" at picturesque locations such as Reynisfjara Beach, Vestrahorn Mountain, and Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon. The couple also posed atop an abandoned plane wreck at Sólheimasandur, with Kajol in chiffon saris and Shah Rukh sporting stylish jackets.
